“Talk Derby To Me” is our view on the fun mix of Roller Derby and old school Drive In’s. Chaos,Quads,and Drive In’s. This is how Shear Chaos puts the Chaos in full contact snacking. Catsup vs. Ketchup? You never know whats going to set off a Derby Girl. Go eat and always make sure there is a ref present. You just never know the background of your server. Root Beer in a mug and a good old burger. Next time you get hungry take a drive for that old school feeling of a Drive In. Shop local and support your communitys history. Shear Chaos Spirit Week

Last week we celebrated our 6 year anniversary. We love doing a bit of dress up so we celebrate by way of Spirit Week. Each day has a theme and some sort of prize or give away. We would like to thank our friends at Start Over Games for coming in on our Mario Kart Day. Here are a few of our photos from the week. The time has come for our 5th annual HALLOWEEN STYLIST CHALLENGE! This year we wanted to focus on the great Midwest. WICKED WITCH OF THE MIDWEST. Each stylist chose their own take on a wicked witch located in the Midwest, referencing Midwest history, wicked witch looks from films, or a concept of a wicked witch they made up themselves. Barber

Stylist

Full time BARBER:

Job description:

We are looking for an individual who specializes in men’s cuts. He/she will be working primarily in our barbershop and be performing a variety of hair and shave services. Hours include nights and weekends (however Sunday & Monday we are closed)

Candidate must have a desire to continually evolve with the industry. He/she must have the right attitude and be team oriented.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid Cosmetology / Barbering License in the State of Wisconsin.

Must have knowledge of a variety of men’s cutting techniques and style variety.

Knowledge & experience with straight blade shaves is a plus but not required, however must be willing to learn, as you will be performing regular straight blade shave services.

Must be well versed in current trends & cutting techniques

Portfolio of your work is a plus but not required.

Experience:

Hands on experience with men’s cuts and straight blade shaves

Previous work experience in a salon or barbershop is a plus, however for the right candidate we are willing to hire right out of school.

Full time STYLIST:

Job description:

We are looking for an individual who specializes in both men’s and women’s cuts, colors, and styles. He/she will be working primarily in our salon and be performing a variety of chemical and cutting services as well as wedding and special event styling. Hours include nights and weekends (however Sunday & Monday we are closed). Candidate must have a desire to continually evolve with the industry. He/she must have the right attitude and be team oriented.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid Cosmetology License in the State of Wisconsin.

Must be qualified in a variety of men’s & women’s cutting, styling, and coloring techniques.

Must be qualified in facial waxing.

Must be qualified and have knowledge in wedding and event styling.

Knowledge and experience in Makeup artistry is a plus.

Portfolio of your work is strongly desired, however not a requirement.

Experience:

Hands on experience with men’s & women’s cutting and chemical techniques is required.

Previous work history in a reputable salon is a plus, however for the right candidate we will consider hiring right out of school.
